It's Official, Miami's Little Haiti is now an Official City Neighborhood

Little Haiti neighborhood is now officially bordered to the north on 80th street, to the south on 54th Street, east on NE 2nd St and NE 4th St, and to the was on Interstate 95 (I95).

Formally called Little River and Little Haiti only by word of mouth, now's it's officially called "Little Haiti"

Marlein Bastien, a local Haitian activist told the Miami Herald:

"Now no one can come and erase the name of Little Haiti... f this decision was not made today, in a few years Little Haiti would disappear.
