Haitian Radio Jockey Eric Cadet aka A to Z to be Laid to Rest today in Florida
If you are a Haitian music lover and you live in the Miami area, then I am sure you have at least once tuned to the show "Explosion AM" on 1580 AM.
It was fun to listen to his radio show... Explosion AM was one of very few Haitian radio programs I grew accustomed to in my years living in South Florida.
I was a regular listener, not just for the news and updates about the HMI (the Haitian music industry) but also because frankly, the host, A to Z, he had a great sense of humor.
I last met Eric Cadet (A to Z) at the Nou Krezi CD release press conference in North Miami, little did I know, it would be the last time.
A to Z will be missed, by all the Haitian musicians he talk so much about, by his Explosion AM listeners, his colleagues, and certainly his wife and children he left behind.
Funeral services will be today, Saturday January 7th, 10:00 AM, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 3781 SW 39th Street, West Park, Fl.
After being laid to rest, there will be a gathering at Casa Champet, 220 N University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 where you have a chance to meet family and friends of the dearly departed.
A to Z... Rest in Peace
Were you a fan? Did you know him Eric Cadet? What do you remember about A to Z?
