Port-au-Prince Haiti -- A big fire broke out at marché de la Croix-des-Bossales in downtown Port-au-Prince Sunday... The fire wiped out the area where used clothing (pèpè) section of the marketplace.

According to news reports, Haitian firefighters were ill equipped to fight this fire.

There are no reports of any loss of life so far but lots of merchandise have been lost in the blaze.
