Finally the rain has come, now Haitian Farmers can start planting their crops

The rain for many in Haiti is a blessing. Rainfall is good news for many Haitian farmers who can finally put some seed in the earth to grow into crops.

Throughout Haiti, most everyone who live off agriculture are waiting for the rain to plant their crops. In the Centre Department of Haiti, it's been months since these farmers have seen rainfall, until now.

The term for this type of agriculture is called "Rainfed Agriculture". It is unfortunate but the majority of the food consumed by poor people in developing countries comes from this type of agriculture.
