Haiti sports fans and journalists are saddened by the death Michel Giraud, one of the oldness sports columnists in Haiti.
Michel Giraud was a sports columnist on Radio Galaxie and a Haitian football encyclopedia.
Michel Giraud died this Friday, December 6, 2019. He died after an asthma attack, according to information provided by a relative.
Journalist Michel Giraud died one week before his 77th birthday. He was born on December 14, 1942.
Naomi Osaka chose her Japanese nationality over US Citizenship
It's official, Haitian-Japanese Tennis start Naomi Osaka has decided to take sole Japanese nationality over American nationality to compete for Japan on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Osaka was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and Haitian father; however, she raised in the United States. Naomi Osaka told NHK World in an interview that she began the process of becoming a Japanese citizen.

Japanese law requires dual-nationality citizens to choose one nationality at the age of 22. Naomi Osaka will turn 22 on October 16 and she made her decision.

3 members of a Little Haiti FL soccer team killed in North Miami crash Saturday
Sad news from the Little Haiti community in Miami Florida. Three members of a youth soccer club from Little Haiti were walking to the bus stop en route a soccer tournament when they were hit by an out of control driver. All three lost their lives.
The victims were identified as 17-year-old Richecarde Dumay, 15-year-old Lens Desir and 13-year-old Gedeon Desir.
The accident happened in North Miami Florida near Northeast 125th Street and 14th Avenue, just west of U.S. 1, at around 5:30 a.m., Saturday.
