DIGICEL EDH Press Conference: Now you can us MonCASH to pay your EDH Bills
Read the my previous article (in Haitian Creole): POUKISA Electricite d'Haiti (EDH) pa janm retire lajan ou peye a sou total facture kouran an?
"As to today, it is possible to use the MonCASH service to pay your EDH electric bills,"Digicel Haiti president Marteen Boute said in a press conference Wednesday, 04 Oct 2017.
Herve Pierre Louis, director general of EDH says: "We are adapting ourselves to the changes happening around us. We notice that many of our clients have certain intelligent platforms they are already using to make payments. So today we are giving them the possibility, via MonCASH, to pay their electric bill."
We are entering into technology so payments for the Electric bills can be virtual, he said.
Well... EDH... What can I say? It's about time!
Hopefully I your client will no longer have to go to the local EDH to have their bills adjusted by pen for payments that are never registered on the system.
Like I said in the previous article, any young Haitian in the street can pull pull out the cheapest telephone (ede m peze) to sell you a PAPADAP or LAPOULA (phone recharge) ... Within a split second he alerts the phone company, Natcom or Digicel, that a payment has been made, and the customer gets his phone recharged. Done! Why can't EDH be alerted immediately when a customer makes a payment?
