EDH Haiti

The wind picked the wrong day to knock down the power line in my neighborhood in Hinche Haiti. May 1st is a holiday in Haiti and EDH, the electric company, doesn't care about your emergency!

It rained in the city of Hinche Haiti like I've never seen before!

The director of EDH received many phone calls about this and so far no one from the electric company has shown up to lift the power line off the ground or the power cable off the tin roof of the neighbor.

Back in March 2017, I wrote an article about EDH, Haiti's electric company, who refuses to modernize their payment system. Finally, last week, they announced you can use now Digicel's MonCASH payment system to pay your electric bill... That's good... They listened!!!
