Haiti Electricity: BID president Luis Alberto Moreno criticizes the 3 big private providers of electricity to EDH
He is what Luis Alberto Moreno said according to Le Nouvelliste:
"There is no reason in today's world for the energy produced by the three private companies to be so expensive. This is something that needs to be addressed."
"I totally agree. I think it's very brave on the part of the president (Jovenel Moise). I know that the different energy companies have not been Haiti's best partners."
"I think that in any partnership, you need to have partners who, at the end of the day, do not look only at their own income but that of the people of Haiti. If they (companies) improved the conditions of the people, they would have done well. That's how we would like to see it,"
"We are not the only donor to talk about the problems in the power sector. If you ask any donor, I'm talking about the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), important players and bilateral partners like the United States, Canada, all will tell you that they have the same concerns about concerning the energy sector."
"I hope these companies look very seriously at how they can really improve the lives of Haitians and assume their responsibility as good citizens, as they should. Nobody tells them they have to leave. It is only a question of doing something that takes into account the good of the country"

:(, smh!...
What chance does the country have of freeing itself from the claws of these vultures?
They are so EVIL, they prefer/choose to invest more in DARKNESS than in LIGHT.
People who do business are in it to make money and do not concern about the plight of the consumers.
What they fail to realize is that the more satisfy the people are, the more business they will attract; and their enterprise will grow in proportion.
I hope that this is a lesson which will prove
