Doresca Camicile

Haitian first lady Martine Moise visited the Haitian women who gave birth to 4 babies (quadruplets) in a Fonrds-Parisien hospital Sunsday.

According to news reports the first lady came bearing gifts to Camicile Doresca, the young 22-year-old who now has 5 children to take care of.

First lady Martine Moise was accompanied by Croix-des-Bouquets vice-delegue Gariga Narcisse, and a representative of the Ministry of public health (santé publique).

Soon after hearing the news of a 22-year-old Haitian woman giving birth to 4 babies (quadruplets) in a Fonrds-Parisien hospital, former Haitian first lady Sophia Martelly decided to visit the newborns and their mother Camicile Doresca.

Sophia Martelly posts on her Fondation Rose et Blanc instagram page:

Fonds-Parisien Haiti -- 22 year old Haitian woman Doresca Camicile gave birth to four babies (quadruplets) Thursday, August 9 2018, at Hospital Christ pour tous de Fond-Parisien.

According to news reports, the babies are alive and well though they were born prematurely, three boys and one girl.

The mother is seeking assistance from the government or anyone who can help. 22-year old Doresca Camicile is from a remote locality of Fonds-Verrettes, a Haitian commune along the Haitian-Dominican border.
