"All those who are here illegally that they can leave voluntarily or they will be forced to leave," Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis said while speaking to members of parliament Wednesday, for the first time after Dorian hit the Bahamas.
Prim minister Minnis promised to help these Haitians after Dorian hit but, one month later, the government seems to have changed its mind.
If you are Haitian and you are illegal in the Bahamas read this:
"If you're in a shelter and you're undocumented and you're not here in the right way, you're still subject to deportation and the enforcement of the immigration laws. There's an Immigration Act and the Immigration Act is in full effect," per Elsworth Johansen, Bahamas Minister of Immigration.
