Haiti Sports - Women's Football gains the support of the Chamber of Deputes

Read this... Haiti's Chamber of Deputies intends to disburse 3.5 million gourdes for the benefit of women's football. A partnership agreement was signed Friday, August 24, 2018 between the office of the Chambre des Deputés led by Gary Bodeau, and the president of the Haitian Football Federation Yves Jean Bart, in order to revive the national championship of women's football.

The agreement, which spans five years, makes the Haitian Parliament the sponsor of the women's football championship, which will be called, according to the terms of the contract, "Coupe du Parlement (Parliament Cup)".

This accord was signed in the presence of the young Haitian women soccer players who have just returned from the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup 2018 in France.

Depute president Gary Bodeau was heavily criticized on social media after he tweeted he would give a cell phone to each of these player after they returned to the world cup. So he went a step further, don't you think?
