Port-au-Prince - Shalom Church closes its doors due to insecurity and kidnappings in Haiti
The popular Church Shalom Tabernacle de Gloire in Port-au-Prince Haiti has decided to suspend all religious activities until further notice to protest against the wave of insecurity and kidnappings that has been ravaging the country lately.

This has gotten so bad that even the church has not been spared. Recently, armed bandits have entered inside of the church and kidnapped worshippers and church leaders while church ceremonies were taking place.
All activities at Shalom Church has been suspended since October 04 2021. Pastor Jacques Maurice, one of the leaders of Shalom Church and director of Radio Television Shalom made the announcement.
