This announcement was made by Commissioner Carl Henry Boucher, Director of the POLITOUR in Haiti as part of the establishment of the Tourist Police in the North.

News of this deployment was released by Haiti new site HaitiLibre.com... A few foreign travel news web sites picked up the English version of the article and re-published it.

That's good news to me... That tells me there are people waiting for Haiti's tourism industry to explode so they can send some tourists out way...
