"They knew the layout of the president's . They had inside information clearly. So it was a well-funded operation probably backed by some country or a very large mafia of sort."

When asked who could have put put this togethwr when he says a large Mafia, the journalist responded it may have been from the Haitian bourgeoisie, as you can hear in the video.
