President Jovenel Moise's big brother Gabriel Moise was arrested Tuesday in Port-de-Paix for his arrogance with police officers trying to restore order in the city.
According to news reports. President Jovenel's brother Gabriel Moise took the wrong way in a one-way street and came face to face with Haitian police officers trying to restore law and order.
Being the big brother of the president of Haiti, the arrogant Gabriel Moise felt powerful enough to demand that the police move their vehicle to let him through.
Haitians Travelers will soon be Free to move about in CARICOM Countries, but there's a catch

A group of young Haitian teenagers were sitting around watching American rap videos when an older Haitian woman comes into house. She didn't understand the music at all but she knows, "it's crazy people music," she says...

The U.N. peacekeeping mission in Haiti has officially ended today, October 15, 2017. A new mission has started, It's civilian mission called MINUJUSTH, The United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti.
MINUJUSTH will have up to 1,275 police officers as well as correction officers and international civilians, but no military personnel.
TPS for Haitians - Haiti government writes to Trump Administration asking for 18-month Extension
The government of Haiti has written to the Trump Administration asking for an 18-months extension of TPS for Haitians living in the United States.
This letter came from Haitian ambassador Paul Altidor on behalf of President Jovenel Moise.
In the letter, the Ambassador asks acting DHS secretary Elaine Duke to take a moment and visit Haiti before making a decision on whether or not to extend TPS for Haitians next month, in November. This visit, one hope, will convince the Trump government that Haiti has not fully recovered and needs a little more time before it can receive tens of thousand of Haitians living in the US without a green card.
