News spread Haiti Cour de Cassation president Rene Sylvestre is dead
After testing positive and hospitalized for COVID-19, rumor spread on social media that Haiti's Cour de Cassation president Rene Sylvestre died on Sunday June 20th 2021. This news was quickly denied by family members of the judge.
Rene Sylvestre, although still in critical condition, is still hospitalized at the Univesity Hospital of Mirebalais, Haiti.
