New grants For Haitians in New York

The announcement was made in a New York Times article a couple of weeks ago.

I was trying to read the article so that can give you an idea about these grants but... honestly... It is not making much sense to me.

Let's just say... That's not my area of expertise!

Perhaps is because I'm tired.

If I understand it correctly, there has been a fund created after the earthquake in Haiti to aid the Haitian Diaspora in New York.

The article was unclear as to who is managing the fund, where to get more information, and how to find out if you qualify for these grants.

"The grants, ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for a total of $250,000, will help support programs covering social service case management, legal help, healing and education."

There is a $429,000 figure in there with talk of "Additional money."
