Nerlens Noel, the highest NBA draft pick of Haitian descent
I only wanted to tell you the good news but sometimes good news is a bit complicated to talk report...
Nerlens Noel was expected to be the No. 1 draft pick in this year's NBA draft but instead fell to No.6 in what USA Today calls a 'draft snub' perhaps due to a knee injury he suffered during his starting season with University of Kentucky.
The same night Nerlens Noel was drafted New Orleans Pelicans, he as immediately traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for point guard Jrue Holiday.
Nerlens told USA Today "Oh yeah, I'm going to make them pay..."
It's gonna be an interesting season for Haitian basketball fans out there... we have one more Haitian brother to cheer for...
Did you watch the NBA Draft? What do you think about it?
