After Osaka overturned a 5-1 third-set deficit to beat Donna Vekic in the Stuttgart quarter-finals, she said she felt some pain in her abdomen during the match.
"I woke up today and I had to roll out of bed," she said while speaking to the media. "I couldn't even practice because I can't even lift my upper body."
