The singer and depute called Radio Caraibes in Haiti from the Dominican Republic to assure the Haitian population that he is OK and to deny allegations of his potential arrest in the neighboring country.

There is a RUMOR spreading in the social networks that Haitian singer and Depute Gracia Delva was arrested in the Dominican Republic in connection with the Clifford Brandt kidnappings "while trying to escape with a few of kidnapper colleagues" someone said on Twitter...

Wyclef run-in with Immigration in Canada.
Haitian hip-hop star Wyclef Jean had a little immigration problem in Canada over the weekend. apparently, Wyclef misplaced his Green Card and could not provide it to Canadian immigration officials in order to enter the country.
Wyclef tweeted:
"Just landed in Montreal I'm at immigration waiting I lost my Greencard! I gotta (sic) 1 million fans waiting let me in!"
