Is French or English The language for business in Haiti?

Have you noticed that the majority of Haitian websites on the internet are in English?

There are some Haitian websites in French but I don't know too many of them.

You know, friend, everyone once in a while I get a request from one or two of my newsletter readers to send it in French.

French?
I don't speak French!

I came to the US when I was 14 years old. I've been living here ever since.

I love to create websites for the Haitian community but I do it in a language that is COMMERCIAL.

Is French a commercial language?

If I had to answer that I would have to say, "Not in the western hemisphere!"

Don't you agree, mon ami?

So I have a question for you:

If you were elected "Directeur General de l'Education Nationale" in Haiti what would you do differently to prepare Haitian students for new global market?
