Haitian doctor kidnapped, Bernard Mevs Hospital workers shut down the hospital

Doctor Jerry Bitar, director of the Bernard Mevs hospital, was kidnapped while preparing the response to the coronavirus, the headline reads on a Haiti newspaper.
Doctor Jerry Bitar was abducted not far from his home by unidentified individuals, at Pèlerin 4, Friday March 27, 2020.
A family member of the doctor leaked the information to the media.
Several employees of Bernard Mevs hospital were really upset after hearing the news about the kidnapping of this doctor.
"We decided to close the hospital. Patients already admitted will receive care, "said a staff member.
"Activities will not resume until Dr. Bitar is released," said an employee at Bernard Mevs Hospital.
