Haitian-Americans, who says you are NOT Haitian because you have an US passport?

Even in politics, Haitian politicians cry their eyes out when they get their visas revoked and they are quick to tell another Haitian who is blessed with a second citizenship they are not Haitian.

Family members, old neighbors and friends in Haiti, they say it and they mean it too. You are no Haitian because of your new French, Canadian, or American passport but they will take every dime out of your pocket in any of these foreign currencies.

I hate to admit it but Haiti is a sorry ass country right now. To be talking about who is Haitian and who is not among us is the last topic we should be discussing right now.

So quit the freaking jealousy and hypocrisy against other Haitians who are where you clearly want to be and let 's all try to fix what's left of this country.

Countries like Australia, Canada, The United States, Germany, The United Kingdom, Greece, France, Italy, Israel , Sweden, and Portugal all allows their citizens to hold dual citizenship. and a poor and tiny third world country like Haiti wants to treat its diaspora which is it so dependent on like second class citizens?

Wake up and smell the coffee!
