Haiti Senator Gracia Delva traffic accident in the Dominican Republic leaves 1 dead and 2 wounded

Haitian Senator and singer Gracia Delva was involved in a traffic accident in the Dominican Republic Friday killing a Haitian citizen and wounded two Dominicans.

Senator Gracia Delva was behind the wheel on carretera Azua-San Juan in the southern part of the Dominican Republic when the incident happened.

According to news reports, Senator Gracia Delva turned himself in to the Direccion General de Seguridad y Transito Terrestre (DIGESETT) where he was briefly detained.

The body of the unidentified Haitian compatriot who died in the accident was taken to a morgue in Azua, Dominican Republic.
