For weeks now, there have been reports of a deadly Methanol-laced Haitian moonshine making people blind before killing them. Since then clairin drinkers have been on alert...

One clairin vendor told a journalist only people who really trust her buys clairin from her and she has been having some tough time financially because she relies on the sale of that product to take care of her family.
