Haiti Policemen Gunned Down in Champ-de-Mars Friday

The Haitian National Police Force has just lost one of its own again... Haitian Policemen Loubens Desrameaux was shot and killed Friday afternoon in front of a street bar in Champ-de-Mars as he was sipping his drink.

According to news reports armed gunmen came riding on a motorcycle and shot the police officer who was in who was in street clothes.

Many of his fellow police officers are mourning his death, some of they shared their grief and sent words of condolences on their Facebook page.

Officer Loubens Desrameaux is from Cerca-Cavajal, Plateau Central Haiti. He was detached to the Ministère de l'Intérieur et des Collectivités Territoriales.
