Haiti - Senator Don Kato furious after hearing Nice Simon (Anne) was violently beaten by Yves Leonard (AUDIO)

"Besides the relationships that I have with Nice Simon on the movie screen, I am Senator of the Republic in the Ouest department in which she is a city mayor of Tabarre," Senator Don Kato told the media. "I am about to put some pressure so that justice is served and that this never repeats in Haitian society again."

"We lived some very sad moments like these before in this society, We lived a time when a young woman, Ginou Mondesir, who lost her life (to domestic violence)," Senator Kato said.

"Looking at the photos of what happened to Nice Simon, I can see clearly that she just escaped death and could've left her skin," the former actor said.
"
There is no reason for a man to beat a women in this condition," Senator Kato continued, "and this is an occasion for us to fight to erradicate this system of domestic violence from this country."

"I condemn this incident and I will stand with Nice Simon until she find justice what what happened to her."
