FLASH: Haiti Kidnapping - Clifford Brandt Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison

After 4 years of "meli melo" with the Clifford Brandt kidnapping case, the man was finally found guilty and sentenced to 18 years in prison for the kidnapping Nicolas and Coralie Moscoso...

The verdict was handed on Tuesday, 13 September 2016 at the parquet de Port-au-Prince...

Two other people involved in this case, Ricot Pierre-Val and Carlot Bendelle Saint-Fort were sentenced respectively to 18 and 19 years in prison for abduction and kidnapping.

3 others, Sawadienne Jean, Carline Richema and Evens Larieux were released due to lack of evidence.
