Haiti Carnaval 2018: "Ayiti Jan l Dwe Ye" Scheduled for 11, 12, 13 Fevrier

Haiti Carnaval 2018 is happening... Starting Sunday 11 February until Tuesday 13 February, Haitians will gather in Capital Port-au-Prince to celebrate Carnaval. The theme for carnaval this year is Ayiti Jan l Dwe Ye".

A Carnaval committee was created by presidential decree to organize this cultural event.

Here are the members of this carnival committee:

  • Claudel Dumas: Président
  • Jean Michel Lapin: Vice- président, responsable des finance
  • Andy Durosier: Secrétaire général
  • Nancy Carraha: Représentant de la présidence
  • Fred Lizaire : Responsabe de l'animation musicale
  • Albert Chancy : Co- responsable de l'animation musicale
  • Emilie Prophète : Responsable de la communication
  • Maëlle David: Responsable artistique
  • Yves Penel: Co- responsable artistique
  • Erol Josué : 2ème Co- responsable artistique
  • Dithny Joan Raton: Membre
  • Alexandra Oriol : Membre
