Getting a Dominican Visa in Haiti is getting more and more difficult
The lines are getting longer in front of the Consulate of the Dominican Republic in Port-au-Prince for Haitains wanting a visa to travel to the neighboring country.

According a journalist from popular radio station in the Haitian capital,
Many Haitians who want to travel to the Dominican Republic mass up in from of the Dominican Consulate where only 15 cases are being treated per day.
One Haitian standing inline to the journalise it is a real headache for a Haitian to get a visa to travel to the Dominican Republic these days. sometimes you stand in line in front of the Consulate and when you get inside you hear there are no more visas available.
Note that the cost to get a visa to the Dominican Republic cost more than $200 U.S. for one year.
