FLASH : CoronaVirus - Haiti will not allow planes from red zones to land in the country

Coronavirus measure in Haiti -- The Haitian government has decided to deny entry of all planes carrying passengers from countries like China, South Korea, France and Germany.

In a message released by the ministry of interior, these planes are not allowed to land on any International Airport in Haiti.

Eddy Jackson Alexis, Secretary of State of communications confirmed this information

"The Ministry of the Interior is asking the airlines operating on our national territory to take the necessary measures to prohibit the boarding of any passenger from the red zones (high risk zones of COVID-19 contamination) who had not spent 14 days outside of a risk-free area, "the note said.

"Instructions have been given to the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration to ensure to the strict application of this measure," the note added.
