FLASH: Elderly Haitian agronomist William Michel commits suicide at the age of 75

Haiti is mourning the death of Agronomist and Engineer William Michel. The old man committed suicide Wednesday, at the age of 75. What would drive a 75 year old Haitian man to commit suicide?

Agronome William Michel was a regular guest in the radio program RANMASE hosted by Jean Monar Metellus on radio Caribes FM.

"his tasks were plenty and his work extraordinary," Journalist Jean Monard said about the Agronome William Michel.

The old man was supposed to turn 76 on September 21. He was an expert agronomist with 47 years experience.

It is not clear yet why Agronome William Michel but one journalist said he had health issued and he had family problems.
