Other countries talk about public safety all the time. Whenever there is a large crowd gathered for some kind of event, public safety, making SURE everyone is safe, is the number one priority for the authorities in other countries except Haiti.
AND if something bad happens in other parts or the world except Haiti, it is NOT the devil's fault or some unexplainable force at work.

It is so easy to blame the boogieman (djab la) for every incident that happens in Haiti that no one needs to take responsibility for anything that happens.
The saddest part of the story is the same people whose responsibility it is to educate and enlighten the people of Haiti are the ones broadcasting it into the ears of the uneducated masses.
And you think Haiti will change?

The US needs to leave Haiti alone and most importantly, the Haitian people need to get together and respect one another.

The truth is the white is to blame.
They are so many articles written about and if you put them together it sums up the same white man is to blame for Haiti
Superstition is in Haitians' fabric.
It is not something that you can snap them out of. Almost every Haitian I know, educated or not, believe in superstition.
It think our best chance is to start educating the youngest generation by incorporating critical thinking at
