Cultural Event In Little Haiti Tonight, June 19 2010
belfet.com/events.php?e=5803The Pye Poudre Cultural Center (Centre Culturel Pyepoudre) was founded by Haitian artist Paula Pean in the 1980's in Haiti with a mission to help young Haitians open their eyes and appreciate the cultural aspect of their country.
Unfortunately, the Pye Poudre Cultural Center collapsed during the January 12 Haiti earthquake.
You can help to rebuild it. Let me tell you how...
Tonight, Saturday, June 19, 2010, Haitian diva Carole Demesmin and his Nonprofit organization, United Haitian Artists Inc. (UHA) are putting together an event nicknamed "Homaje A La Culture Haitienne" in order to raise money to rebuild this cultural center that has been of service to Haitian kids in Haiti for more than 20 years.
