Haitian-Japanese Tennis Champion Naomi Osaka got a birthday present of a lifetime... She got Michael B. Jordan as a date to grand premiere of the upcoming film Creed II for her 21st birthday.

About a month ago, Naomi admitted on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she had a major crush on Michael B. Jordan.

Osaka just turned 21 and, as a big surprise, the actor asked her to the premiere of his upcoming film Creed II for her 21st birthday.

Great news for Haitian-Japanese tennis champion Naomi Osaka. She was nominated for the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Player of the Year award.

It's been a great year for the Haitian-Japanese tennis champion who, by the way, plans to spend her vacation in Haiti visiting some of of the most amazing tourist attractions the country including the Citadelle, a large mountaintop fortress in Northern Haiti, 3000 feet above sea level built in early 1800s.

Haitian-Japanese Naomi Osaka made history again reaching No. 4 in WTA rankings

Haitian-Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka made history again. Naomi is now ranked No. 4 in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings tying the all-time record for highest-ranked Japanese player, male or female.

Only two Japanese players before Naomi Osaka been ranked as high as No. 4, Kimiko Date, who spent seven weeks at No. 4 in the WTA rankings in 1995, and Kei Nishikori, who spent 12 weeks at No. 4 in the ATP rankings, according to http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2018/10/naomi-osaka-historically-reaches-no-4-wta-rankings/77452

Neither Date nor Nishikori ever made it any higher than No. 4.

Haitian Horse Rider wins Olympic Gold Medal at the Youth Olympic Games

His name is Mateo Philippe Coles, he is a professional Horse Rider, a Jockey, an Equestrian is the proper name, and he just made history after he won an Olympic Gold Medal at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires in Argentina.

A Gold Medal for Haiti...Hip hip hooray!!!

Mateo Philippe Coles is only 16 years old. He trained in the United States and he prepared hard for the Olympics. He won the gold!

"I'm proud of this victory," young Mateo Coles said, "My real happiness is to have allowed us to talk about Haiti from another angle in the media thanks to this medal."

Haitian actor Daniel Fils-Aimé alias Tonton Bicha made these remarks after he found out Yves Leonard, owner of Kingdom Hotel in Haiti and close friends with Haitian president Jovenel Moise and Prime Minister Jean Henry Ceant, inflicted some serious injuries to his concubine Nice Simon and is now a fugitive from justice, accused of a crime and hiding from law enforcement.

Haitian-Japanese Naomi Osaka won her toughest match yet, beating Zhang Shuai at China Open 2018

Chinese tennis player Zhang Shuai didn't want to lose at home so she gave Haitian-Japanese Naomi Osaka a run for her money. But the stronger Osaka won 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. Osaka admits, "'It was really hard to play against her here."

Naomi Osaka advances to the semi-final.

It was a tough match for Naomi indeed and she fought for every point. On the third set many though it was over for the Haitian-Japanese player when Shuai was leading 4-1, then 5-3, but Naomi made a great comeback and beat her 7-5.

Shoubou, the singer of Tabou Combo, is hospitalized

Haitian singer Robert M. Eugène, aka Shoubou, vocal lead Tabou Combo has been hospitalized since Thursday, September 27th.

The singer who is in a hospital in New York currently must undergo thoracentesis, a procedure to release of excess fluid in his lungs.

This news was fist reported on Loop Haiti.
