Car Wash Party is the new form of wet and wild street party in Haiti where DJs are playing live in the streets and young party animals are drinking beer while being sprayed with water car wash style.

These Car Wash Parties usually take place during the weekends especially in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince. Streets are blocked off, the music is playing, food and drinks for sale and it's party time.

While the young Haitians are partying and dancing, they are being sprayed with a pressure washer gun as if they were in a car wash.

"We can not go to the beach because of the insecurity that prevails on the road to Martissant, so we have to have fun close to home," a young man told a journalist.
