ESSENCE interviews Wyclef Jean and LeToya Luckett (Destiny's Child) at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards
A grateful LeToya Luckett told ESSENCE what a big moment this was for her to see Haitian music legend Wyclef Jean again after so long at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
"He took us on, we were just starting, no one knew our names, no one knew us," the Luckett told ESSENCE.

21 years before that when LeToya Luckett, Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Robinson was new to the music industry as Destiny's Child, Wyclef Jean teamed up them for the remix of "No, No, No" and it made a big difference in their career.
