Women in Haiti think: My diaspora boyfriend will take me to the United States and give me a green card

Some women in Haiti believe a boyfriend in the Diaspora means a green card and a free ticket to the United States. Sooner or later they discover they are just a convenient Haiti vacation girlfriend. The boyfriend they think is the love of their lives is actually a married man with kids

Most women want a flat stomach and a BIG bouda, so how you get it?

Most women want a flat stomach and a BIG bouda, so how you get it?

My wife goes to the gym almost everyday and keeps asking how she can get a flatter stomach and a bigger buttocks, what Haitians call "gwo bouda!"

There are many videos on you youtube with workouts for a bigger butt. I even saw a 3 minute butt workout but, after watching this video, my wife told me she does that everyday and seems to be getting the results she is looking for.

If you have you own exercise that give you a flatter tummy and a very nice looking bouda, please share!

Look at the FEAR in the eyes of this Haitian woman during a Street Protest in Haiti

Look at the FEAR in the eyes of this Haitian woman during a Street Protest in Haiti

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... Look at the FEAR in the eyes of this poor Haitian woman during a street protest, captured by the lens of a photographer for Le Nouvelliste during the October 17 2018 street protests.

For those of you who are not used to the reality of Haiti, this obviously poor Haitian woman tucked herself under a 'bak machan', a table like wooden structure used by street vendors in Haiti. She is clearly afraid of something.

She fears for her life!

Read what Haitians on social media though when whey saw this picture:

Alain Dorsainvil: Foto sa fè kè m dechire... Se te ka manman m ki nan pozisyon sa. Malgre tout risk, pwodyab li pran lari kan menm pou chèche lavi (This has made my heart tremble ... My mom could have been in that position. Despite all the risks, poor soul, she out in the streets trying to make ends meet)

Béa Pier Béo L: Podiab mizè nan kòl epi yap teworizel. (Poor thing, she is already in her misery and they are terrorizing her on top of it)

Genise Azor: On est fatigué... on en a assez... (We're tired... We've had enough!)

Dayala Jeanbaptiste: Gade yon peur nan yeux li c'est triste (Look at the fear in her eyes, this is sad!)

How Haitian women are transforming Cocoa to Chocolate in Haiti

From harvesting cocoa to a chocolate bar, a group of Haitian women in Limonade Haiti make it their business to transform cocoa to chocolate and they are making money too...

These women are members of the Association of Valiant Women of Limonade (RAFAVAL) in Limonade, Nord department. This woman's association transforms local cocoa into chocolate.

Chances are, if you are drining a cup of hot chocolate in front of the University of Limonade, you are you are being served fresh 'chokola' from one of these valiant Haitian business women.
