Airports In Haiti
PHOTO: Haiti - Jeremie Airport
Look at this photo of the Airport in Jeremie Haiti...
The Jérémie Airport (IATA: JEE, ICAO: MTJE) is the fifth most important airport in Haiti in passenger traffic. Locate in the city of Jérémie, this airport is in the south west of Haiti.
For a very long time the Jeremie airport was a dirt strip where airplanes used to land. As of the end of October 2014, that is about to change. Haitian Prime minister Laurent Lamonthe laid the first stone to turn Jeremie airport into a Modern International Airport.
Haiti - New LOOK : Inside Toussaint Louverture International Airport
Have you been inside the Haiti Toussaint Louverture International Airport lately? It looks beautiful... This is customs area for passengers arriving in Haiti... Way different then before... Wouldn't you say so?
I know that sometimes we Haitians want to close our eyes and see the change we want magically appear when we open it back up... Change does not happen that way... It take time!
Recently I was a video showcasing all the changes that will happen in Haiti Toussaint Louverture airport over time. It's not like they are going to shut down the airport to rebuild it. It's being done while the airport is in operation...
Let us keep on moving forward... Haiti has lagged behind long enough...
