well i think, our system is very good rigth now...
we don't accentuate only on english because we have both english, spanish courses in our school...
i think it's just awesome!! how many people can say yes i understand spanish and can still cope in english...and yeah i do speak french...
i mean i'm not against your idea about creole, but com'on if we really wanna speak "a"
language of our own, don't you think that will be going way back in africa where we all from and actually make up a swahili, a ibo (etc) language course...that will be speaking "our" language...
you do know that " creole" technically speaking is not a language..it's a dialect...
it's a mix and deformation of pronunciation of many foreign words ( french, english, spanish, german) etc...
it depends on what country colonize your country..so creole it's pretty much their inheritance to us...
now think, is " creole" really "ours"?
now i agreee i was born and raised in Haiti, i call creole mine..that's what my mom speaks to me...
but i think it will be limiting ourselves if we decided to just speak creole, believe me that won't be a wise choice.
Morine...
