I believe that the president or the prime minister should talk to them in presence of the MINUSTAH and MINUSTAH in turn should come up with a some sort of an understanding on both parties.

The understanding should have precise stipulations and the are not followed by both parties what would happen to them. Both parties should clearly understand what they are agreeing to. The stipulation should have a beginning and an ending date signed by representative of both parties.

No, they should not walk away without anything.

Their efforts would have been washed away for nothing.
