Gelin,
Our actions determine our outcome.

We reap what we sew. Galatians 6:7-10 tells us "Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the ...

reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not...

let us do good unto all men,..." Gelin, we as a nation have sinned greatly before God. We have no love for our fellow citoyen, we hate, we steal, we kill with no remorse, we commit adultery, no respect for our marriare vow or commitment, only a handful of us have taken the step to acknowledge God's word, and have a relationship with Him. We are an adulterous nation, witchcraft is our passion.

It is fact that 100% of Haitian say they believe in God, they even go to church every sunday, 85% presume to be Catholic 15% other religion, but the fact is 100% believe in vodoo.

In fact, the marjority of Haitian who are active in Church still have an ogatoire at their home. Who are they really serving? You said it well Gelin, "they believe in God" but what are their works?

You will know them by their fruits! the Bible says. So I'll say it again, We call God's judgement on us, by our actions, our choices.

God will not lie, and no He is not partial either.

As His word says, and even as he also warned the children of Isael in the book of Deuteronomy, the whole chapter 4, and chapter 28:1,15...

"If thou shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord to observe and to do all his commandments...the Lord will set thee on high...and all these blessing shall come upon you.."15,"But if thou wilt not hearken to his voice and observe His commandments...

that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee.
Although those commandments were given to the Israelites, the principle of the word of God is still the same. The buttom line is: as Moses said "Keep therefore the commandment of God and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding..." God is the same Yesterday, today, and forever, He has not changed.

Yes, we are not the only nation rebelling against God; but, it's not my place to judge other nations, because this is not my calling.

I can only pray that the lord will send faithful servants as He is sending those in Haiti.

Our job as Christian is to pray, preach the word inspite of opposition, and trust the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of our people to convict them of their sin, so they may repent.

God in His awesome wisdom, mercy, and love for us tells us if we call on Him, He will hear us and answer us; this is the message we want to seng to our people.I'm sorry if my writing have conveyed the wrong message to you, this was not my intention.

With all due respect, I think God is able to defend His own cause, that's why He is God. Our job is to reach our fellow citoyen with the message of the Gospel, and the love of Christ.

Now, you can choose to continue your charming dispute, (by the way, are you a lawyer?) or, you can start praying for lost souls and for a spiritual revival in our country.

I assume you have been doing just that.
P.S. Keep up the good Work!
May His name be forever be praised!
Nadege
