Hello, Doctor Malbranche, I am so glad to see that you were the first one to comment about your son's article.

I am not the one who deserve the thanks, it should do to Merritt, the lady in my newsletter who told me about your son.

As I told your son via email:

"As a young Haitian living in the United States I am constantly looking for Haitian role models for the younger kids in our community, something or someone they can cling to and 'want to be like' when they grow up."

"Everybody wants to be like Mike but Mike is not Haitian, Mike is just another American story."

"It is very important to me to find people like you who is willing to tell the world that their father is from Anse-a-Veau"

"It is not easy what I do, but I do it hoping that one day there will more to say about Haiti than 'Oh yeah! Haiti is the poorest country in the western Hemisphere!'"

Thank you, Dr. Malbranche, I can feel how poud you are.
