I believe you're getting your information from the wrong sources.

Gas prices didn't go down in Dominican Republic.

I didn't get this information out any web page or source of information, I'm seen it myself.

I'm on vacation with my family here, right now and I can tell you that gas prices haven't increased in about two weeks, but it did on July 6th 2018. With sharing this information I want to somehow stop the controversy people are always trying to create when it come to Haiti and The Dominican Republic.

Things are not how people are trying to make it look like.
