A friend of mine called me last week, he had gone to DR on vacation.

First thing he told me was that he noticed the management of the hotel were treating the black skinned
employees like dirt.

Poor guy, he didn't know the story.

I had to explain him the whole thing.

The depressing relationship between the two nations since times begun.

I'll tell you something, racism is all over the Spanish islands, even Cubans are racist towards black people and so are Puerto Ricans.
