OMG!!! it's WONDEFUL to find someone who has pride in his background.

It's insulting having others tell you "you don't look haitian" just as someone can say you don't look american, or irish.

as if the people of that culture should meld in and fit the stereotypes were given: all irish are drunkards and all americans are arrogant.

and the stereotype for haitians is that they're voodoo working, backwards people-- ignorant and black as ashes.

i can only tip my hat low towards you in respect because you stand tall against the stereotypical regards of us and you 've given me one more reason to be proud that I TOO am haitian.
