Getting Haitian Information

My name is Delores and unfortunatly I have never been to Haiti.

I am currently in a class that deals with the issues of racism around the world, and I was wondering if I could obtain some information from people who have actually lived in Haiti versus relying on text books and internet sites only because as we all know they don't always tell the truth...or even half of it. If anyone could respond it would be greatly apreciated.

I would like to include personal experiances and feelings about the issues of racism as it exsist in Haiti.
