We definetly deserve asylum.

With Haiti being a country that has economical problems and political problems, we definetly should get asylum.

I think they are so quick to send haitians back because the U.S.

has a big misconception about the kind of people we are.

Americans think that all haitians have AIDS, that we all do voodoo, that we are all theives, that we all eat cat, and etc.

Notice how I keep using the words "we all".

They don't realize that these type of people exist in all nationalities.

Also, they are quick to send us back because they think that are president isn't as bad as Castro.

The U.S.

doesn't realize that haitians are also killed and beatened for attempting to leave Haiti.

The Haitian government threatns families just like Castro threatens families.

I think that Haiti can fix the problem that it has by having by having (1)a better educational system.

An uneducated nation will never advance.

If Haiti learns to keep children in school, these children will invent ways to create medicine, make machines, create more agriculturing methods, and more.

(2) Haiti needs a infrastructure.

The roads need to be fixed first, there needs to be a water system that reaches every home, power lines should be built up.

I notice that haitians are trying to fix Haiti but they need to realize that we have to start at the necessities first.

(3) Haiti needs are true democratic system.

I believe that the votes aren't counted fairly, the government takes food, money, and supplies from the people.
