Senor Marti wasn't the only Revolutionary LEADER who travel to Haiti to seek help for their country.

Haitians usually mentioned Senor Simon BOLIVAR but el Senor Francisco de Miranda was equally gifted a military HERO who also went to Haiti to seek our help.

Further more, what was interested about el Senor Miranda trip to Haiti was while he was there he consecrated his vision creating the Venezuelan FLAG.

YES! The Venezuela flag first was created / made in Haiti.

Second, the flag was flown in Jeremie water before she reach her final place of destination...

Haiti once was the leader in the Caribbean
