Do you know why they need the Island of La Gonave, because of its resources.

Namely Oil. 48 Billion may seem a lot yes, But in 10 20 years from now, that may not seem like much. The government of Haiti must be very careful and not be pressured into a deal that will not benefit Haiti.

For Haiti cannot have its resources exploited and taken advantage of. We all know that the revenue will be far more than 48 billion.

So, I am for the government, if they want to take their time and look after the best interest of the country and make sure that this development is fair. And everyone comes out happy mainly Haiti fine. The government should not be pressured into this. If they cannot wait by all means go to the Dominican Republic.

We will develop our Island.

Haiti does not need quick fixes, it needs long sustainable development.

If the government does what it needs to do to develop the island.

Than that in itself is Haiti's own revival to its current situation.
